Subscription and Auto-Renewal Policy

This "Subscription and Auto-Renewal Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") applies to all subscription-based services provided by BlackTom (including but not limited to Gold, Platinum, Ultimate and other paid plans). Before purchasing a subscription service, please carefully read and fully understand this Policy. This Policy, together with the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, governs your use of this service.

1. Subscription and Auto-Renewal Description

1.1 When you purchase any subscription plan, you authorize BlackTom and its payment service providers (including but not limited to Stripe) to automatically charge your bound payment method at the end of each billing cycle.

1.2 Auto-renewal charges are typically initiated within 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

1.3 If automatic charging fails, the system will automatically retry. If charges fail multiple times, BlackTom reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription service.

2. Not Covered by Refund Policy

2.1 Subscription renewals (automatic charges) are NOT covered by the Refund Policy. All renewal charges are non-refundable once processed.

2.2 You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing cycle to avoid automatic renewal.

Note: BlackTom's Refund Policy only applies to initial software purchases under first-purchase conditions and does not apply to subscription renewals. These policies do not conflict and apply independently.

3. Subscription Fees and Non-Refundable Principle

3.1 Unless otherwise required by law, all subscription fees (including initial subscription and renewal) are non-refundable, regardless of whether you actually use the service.

3.2 Subscriptions are considered delivered upon payment completion and do not support partial refunds or remaining day refunds.

3.3 Please confirm your chosen plan before purchase to avoid unnecessary losses.

4. Upgrade, Downgrade, and Proration

4.1 When you upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan mid-billing cycle, BlackTom will use Stripe's standard Proration feature to automatically calculate the difference.

4.2 Settlement method is as follows:

  • When additional payment is required: The difference will be immediately charged to your payment method;
  • When unused amount is generated: The unused portion will be automatically credited to your Credit Balance.

4.3 All proration amounts will be displayed to you before the operation. You can review the fee details before confirming the change.

5. Credit Balance

5.1 Sources of Credit Balance include but are not limited to:

  • Proration differences from subscription upgrades/downgrades;
  • Compensation amounts processed by the system.

5.2 Credit Balance usage rules:

  • Can only be used to offset future subscription fees or other paid services provided by BlackTom;
  • Cannot be withdrawn, cannot be gifted to others, and does not support refund to original payment method;
  • Balance remains valid throughout the account's existence, unless the user voluntarily closes the account or is banned for violations.

6. Subscription Cancellation

6.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time from your personal account page. After cancellation, your current subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

6.2 Canceling your subscription will not affect completed charges, and cancellation will not result in a refund.

6.3 If you do not wish to be automatically charged again, please complete the cancellation before the next billing cycle begins.

7. Service Changes and Policy Updates

7.1 BlackTom reserves the right to update subscription plans, prices, and features at any time based on business adjustments or legal requirements. If adjustments may affect your rights, we will notify you in advance through announcements or emails.

7.2 BlackTom reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Once this Policy is updated, we will publish the latest version on our website. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
